Quality assurance

There is no doubt about the importance of the translation quality for a business. Unprofessional and poor-quality translations can lead to crucial legal and financial consequences, and can spoil the reputation of a company.
Baltic Translations Agency operates according to the requirements of the European translation services standard EN 15038:2006.

To ensure a professional translation, we apply the following quality management strategies:

• We carry out an analysis of the documents provided; find out the formats of the received and returned documents; determine who is the target audience for the translation; select the correct language and dialect; and evaluate the desired deadline for the translation
• Having assessed the scope of the documents, we choose the team of translators
• The translated document is checked and collated by the editor alongside the text of the original language
• Layout work is carried out at the client’s request
• We carry out a final check, and will only send the translation to you after making sure that the document meets all of the requirements
